While looking for a personal or payday loan, I received a text message from appconnect.org saying my app has been approved for low pre-approved rates; including a link. I used the link, which processes looking for a lender. No lender is found, so I'm automatically redirected to a website containing several options, mostly for debt consolidation or debt relief. Also, three offers of funds: 1) without a credit check, 2) guaranteed with bad credit, and 3) quickly for emergencies. I chose number three and instantcashpot.com's website comes up on screen with part of the info I had filled out through appconnect.org. All I need to do is enter the last four digits of my social security, which I do, and enter or start. Then an application page comes up, and I must fill in all fields containing an asterick. So, I start doing that, but began feeling uncomfortable, stopped filling the application and began examining their website. I went to the menu and read 'About Us', 'How It Works', and 'FAQS'. There were lots of errors, grammatical and spelling, and some words used gave me the feeling I was listening to a foreigner. They claim they have about 300 lenders all over the world. I decided to go to 'Contact Us'. They give you a form to fill out. When I scrolled down further, there's an admin email address, support time availability, and a US address. I thought, 'Really? Something's not right.' So, I decided to check them out with the BBB. ScamPulse.com results: 'No information available' using the name and address, nor with using the name alone, nor with using the website address. I decided to use the ScamPulse.com Scam, and there's one complaint. I cancelled and did not finish instantcashpot's application, based on all the information mentioned above. Please, beware, and be aware.
