How to opt out from debtless credit PERMANENTLY
When they first debited the $19.99 out from my bank, I called them immediately, the number was :1 (833) 497-0184 to cancel the weekly payments. They told me that they will process it and forward the request to the financial department. Next week came by, $19.99 was debited from my bank account again and so I called to let them know that I have cancelled the payment the week before. They said that "they can see that a request have been made to cancel the payment a week before" and the reason why they couldn't process the cancellation because they had some power outage in their office". I told them to make sure that I won't be charged $19.99 again next week and they said "yes". Another week came by, and again, you guessed it, $19.99 gone and this time I got really upset and called them right away and they mentioned that my account has been cancelled 2 weeks back and the money shouldn't be debited from my account anymore, and they said the same thing the following week but $19.99 was again deducted from my account the week after.
If you are in the same position as I am, to permanently stop the weekly payments, I suggest you to request a "Stop payment" from your bank institution. Give them a call and explain your situation and frustration. When you do call Debtless credit to cancel the weekly $19.99 payments, make sure you record the call conversation so that you have a proof that your payment has been cancelled, because you can back up your case to the bank if the bank wants to investigate further. I did this, and the weekly payments of $19.99 finally stopped after the endless lies debtless credit had told me.
Also, Please report this company to the fraud section from your bank institution or any fraud authorities (making sure you record phone conversations/emails from debtless credit as a proof to back up your case) because it is illegal to be taking out money from a person's bank account without any legal documentation or client's disclosure. Plus the websites also says it all - not enough information on it, no physical address or whatsoever. I have made reports on several banks, unions and agencies in my city to spread the word about how this company scams their customers and lets hope that other people continue doing it as well to prevent other people from falling victim to this company.
Please guys, keep reporting this company as a fraud so that this company will be barred from banks or any financial institution. And please, most importantly, don't fill in that application on their website!
