I was having an issue with my computer connecting to my internet and so I restarted my laptop. A few moments later, I received a call from (844) 944-8449 where a woman with a heavy accent claimed to be from a "security" company called "Defender 24/7" and told me that they had my IP address and were detecting issues with it and then tried to make me turn my computer on so that they could access information. This is very concerning to me and would like more information as to what I should do? I refused to give them any information and asked them to identify me and they could not. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.
