"Hello, I'm Emerson Boyd from DEFINITIVE HEALTHCARE , in respect to your resume approval for the Remote Data Entry/Admin Position, be informed that pay is $29/hr. You should proceed to contact my employer on Signal. Download the app from Google Play/App Store or by visiting signal.org Add the Interview manager Mr James Springer using his phone number 6314929538 on the signal app , and send him a message regarding the interview process."
I unfortunately accepted this as I am new to the job searching field. Pertinent personal information was not released (besides my address). I was given a rather brief interview over Signal Messenger, and sent an "offer letter". The interview consisted of basic interview and skill qualifications, the programs and materials I'd be "using". I still have this document in downloaded and printed versions, as well as the E-Mail. The E-Mail is as follows:
"Dear [*personal name, rather not share when sending this email]
We are pleased to offer you the position of a full time Remote Data Entry Clerk at DEFINITIVE HEALTHCARE .
We were thoroughly impressed by your qualifications, experience, and interview performance and we believe you will make a valuable addition to our team.
Please indicate your acceptance of this offer by signing and returning a copy of this letter by before the end of the day. Attached in this email is a copy of your offer letter

Not long after this another conversation and brief phone call occurred on April 22nd with "James". I was notified the position I was offered was no longer available but a payroll clerk position was. I would have to go buy my own business checks, paper and FedEx envelopes. He then proceed to create a reimbursement move, recommended Bitcoin and attempted to get my BTC address. This conversation immediately ended here and the Signal Messenger app with deleted. I have not received any further calls, texts, and/or E-Mails from these scammers regarding this situation.
I unfortunately do not have the entire conversation that was conducted on Signal Messenger, but will investigate of possible retrieval. I have also contacted the Official Definitive Healthcare Support Team to notify the company, which has been received and passed onto the IT and Legal Team with high priority.
