Something was not right with this whole set-up. I could not find a name or a physical address on the website. They stated they register their litters with American Pet Registery. I contacted this organization and asked for information on Delcie St Bernards. I explained everything to them and they said it sounded like a scam to them. They also said they cannot search their database without the name of the owner which I could not find.
I then contacted the Better Business Bureau of New Bern, NC and asked for information. They did not have a record of this business. They explained that it just means there have not been complaints or inquiries.
My next step was to ask Delcie St Bernards what there method of payment is. They accept Zelle. I am not a user of Zelle so I decided to research them. They transfer money from bank accounts and do not cover fraud.
In my opinion, this all adds up to a big SCAM! I will not be concluding this transaction and I will on purchase a pet from a breeder that I can pay a physical visit.
