FIrst email went to my work address saying that there was a former staff member whose late father wanted to give away a baby grand piano. I emailed the supposed person and they said that further contact would go through the shipping company. Contacted the shipping company via email, the "account manager" got back to me VERY quickly, I emailed a response, and if I didn't respond back in a few minutes, they sent another email or text, and always said that there were many other people waiting for the piano and I had to act quickly. The manager addressed the email to my last name, told me what the shipping costs would be, stated that payment would be made via paypal or zelle, and when I did some research on the company I couldn't find them. Asked for the company ID number and they came back with "we can't divulge that information, it's against our policy, it would be giving away sensitive information". Then when I didn't respond I had no more contact with them.

I got a text saying my product was undeliverable and I have to pay a re-delivery fee to sent it out again. It asked me to press”Y” to get the link and that brought me to a site that asked for my credit card info and a redelivery charge of 30 cents. Because it asked for credit card info, I got suspicious. I looked on line and it said USPS doesn’t charge for re-delivering. When I went back to the text, the message was gone and just the phone number remained

A call claiming to be from Amazon to authorize a charge of $1499 for a MacBook Pro. If you continued with the call you would be prompted to speak with a representative.
