In the last month, since I set my phone to "reject calls from an identified number", it has changed to an automated call leaving a voicemail.
With both methods, they claim they are from Dell Tech Support calling about virus software installed on your computer, and that they saw virus activity that they want to help you fix.
In the automated voicemail, it asks you to call back the number. It calls and leaves a voicemail several days each week. The scam has been going to my phone for months, occassionally changing the phone number it calls from. Previously was from New York area codes, now is calling from an 877 toll free number. I also get other scam calls from various other phone area codes that my phone automatically rejects with an app, but they do not leave messages except from this one phone number.
