Purchased 2 AMEX gift cards as told to do so bc of flight sale with Delta. These people called from a Delta #. Next day they called saying problem with payment it was wrong type of AMEX andI needed to purchase another type of AMEX gift card so e-tickets could be issued. They stated they weren't refunding my original $700 plus payment until I gave them my license # and date of birth. I told them not doing it I was reporting them to FTC. I then called delta bc I thought it was thru delta bc they used DELTA's #. Delta informed me there was nobody with that extension and that they didn't book it a travel agent called TRAVEL UNO DID. I informed Delta that someone was using their # and an email that said no reply @delta.com and posing as them however since no tickets were ever issued they couldn't report it. I reported to FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION. Needless to say I am out $700 plus dollars and no plane tickets and they purchased stuff from CARid.com with my gift cards to boot.
