I found a website to purchase Persian kittens. The scammer responded from the website and sent photos and videos of the 2 kittens. He requested a deposit for shipping and provided a contract guaranteeing the cats health. The contract was reviewed and a deposit was made of $500 to ship the kittens. The rest of the money would be given via cash upon their arrival. A tracking number and email was sent. I received a tracking # and note saying the kittens was at the vet.  Another tracking update provided on the kittens said they were now at the airport. Then an email was sent by “Anthony” stating that I had to send an additional $1900 to cover the kittens new crates as the weather changed and they need more insulation. At that point I requested a refund and have not received communication from the scammer since. I lost $500.
