I saw a piece of equipment on this website that I was interested in purchasing. https://dennispolkequipment.com/ They also have a Facebook page and a Youtube channel. The equipment I was interested in was on all three sites. They had official looking sales agreements and invoices they sent me. They asked for signature through Docusign. Then they wanted me to send funds to the bank that they provided account and routing numbers to. My bank was suspicious so I drove from Plum City WI to Warsaw Indiana to look at the equipment and make them an offer in person. When I got there I found out there is no such business at the address listed. As a matter of fact there was a farm equipment dealer up the road that said Dennis Polk retired 5 years ago and people have been stopping at their business looking for the equipment on the website. This "company" was represented by a woman that said her name was Pamela Polk. She seemed to be fairly well versed in the equipment information but when I said I'd come down to see the machine she no longer answered my calls, emails or texts. I'm so glad I didn't wire the $25,000 for the equipment. I still had to pay for my loan origination fees and gas and 16 hours of driving. I wish I knew how to get the word out about this scammer site.
