Type of a scam Online Purchase
Four days later we received an email from Transpet Movers saying the puppy shipment was on hold because they were waiting for a special crate. We would need to supply and pay extra for the crate, but the money would be refunded upon delivery (see attachment). The following day we received another email saying that we have to pay $950 for the transport. It was then that we requested to send the puppy to our address in Indiana instead of Colombia. This request was made using a form that appeared on the website. The puppy never arrived.
On several occasions we tried contacting both the breeder and Transpet Movers regarding the additional payments. We left 3+ messages on a phone number that appears on the Danny Teacup Poodles webpage; our messages were never returned. It was absolutely impossible to reach the shipping company Transpet Movers either per email, phone, or the contact form that appears on their website.
