I received a letter from the KS Department of Labor stating I filed for unemployment against my own company. A few days letter Ireceived a letter from the KY Department of Labor regarding an unemployment claim which included half of my personal information as well as someone else’s information. I have no applied for any unemployment.

My father-in-law received an unofficial letter from the unemployment office day and he shredded it. The next day he receive an official letter from the unemployment office (with his name, DOB, SS# and address) that he was not eligible for unemployment. He has been retired for over 5 years and never applied for unemployment.

Consumer got Facebook message pretending to be her friend, and told consumer to send money to get a grant from the Department of Labor.

For months I've been getting calls from the "Department of Labor" asking me for information about my business. The first person, a woman, also followed up with printed material that looked official and gave me enough info that I believed them. Today someone different called to "verify the description of my business" and when I pushed back, said, "I'm not trying to get any personal information I just want to verify the description of what you do" but then proceeded to ask me if my address was correct, so I hung up. Frankly, I googled "why does the department of labor keep calling me" because I thought these calls were related to the Trump administration & wanted to get to the bottom of it, but then I saw that there is an ongoing scam where people pretend to be from the Department of Labor and eventually try to get $$. I still don't know what's up with all these calls, but it doesn't feel right. I hope the info I provided earlier went to a legitimate source.

Says they are keri taylor from the department of labor. Uses my name when leaving voicemail. Name is part of my voicemail
