"Hi this is Leslee Owens with the Department of Legal Affairs with US Treasury and I was trying to reach you in regards to an very important issue. This is a verbal notification for you in regards to the enforcement actions that have been started against your name. My number is 718-819-7917. I repeat, it's 718-819-7917. If for any reasons you are busy to call back, I would suggest you to have your attorney to do it for you as delaying calling us might end up in a legal mess for you. I called them back and spoke with someone different named Nathan and when I asked what it was about he said it was due to an error on our part in filing our 2013 taxes and because we have not responded to their mailings or attempts to contact us in person, they're attempting to contact us by phone. He said we could spend time in jail for the crime against us. I said we have a CPA do our taxes and that I would be contacting them about it and hung up. I contacted our CPA about it and they advised me it was a scam and suggested to report it to the BBB.
