Scammer called me and claimed to have found an abandoned car in Texas with thousands of $ in it and my identity, birthdate, address, SS#, phone #. He said that I was being reported to the Department of Justice and they would be arresting me for money laundering, and drug trafficking. If I would transfer my money into a "Safe" account that he would tell me, they would get me a new Social Security # and then transfer it back into my accounts after I had my new number.

I called the Idaho Attorney General - Consumer Protection Department and spoke with Lee, and she told me to hang up immediately because it was a fraud that was coming from people in Texas.

Fortunately, I had not given them any account #s.

They used 3 phone #s, which I suspect are all fraudulent numbers.
