Depot Post Reports & Reviews (8)

I was contacted by someone from this supposed company in late October 2019, when I was desperately looking for a job, known by the alias JOB HR. I never found out about this job on Indeed, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, or Monster, but I had my resume on file with these job search engines. They told me that I can make easy money by receiving, inspecting, labeling, and shipping out packages. As I was desperate to start work (I was in a transitional period), I gave out the requested information (name, phone, and residential address), and within a week, another person from the company, by the name of Nancy Hill, at which point I gave the same information. On Halloween, I was informed that my application was approved, and they had me watch me a ten minute video explaining what the company is. The next morning, I got a call from someone by the name of Ariel Nagy, and he interviewed me over the phone, which lasted just under five minutes. Within a half hour, he informed me that I was selected, and that onboarding would progress. I fell for it, unsuspectingly, hookline and sinker. The first package came within one week after the interview, and during the onboarding, I was told sign the contract on DocuSign, and upload my picture ID, as well as complete a W-2 and preferred payment methods, pretty much whole nine yards for any new hire. I was also told to create carrier accounts and order the supplies (which never happened), and registered on the dashboard which is www [dot] pack [dash] control [dot] com, and everything seemed legit. I shipped out packages at the closest UPS, Fedex, and Post Offices, and since I had neither a driver's license nor a car to drive, I had to get there by using the local bus network. The first packages started coming just before the Veterans Day weekend, and starting the week following, the number of packages shipped started to increase, to 8, and during that week, someone by the name of Nancy Thorn, who claims to be working at the Accounting Department, offered me to apply for the purchasing assistant position. The week after that, which was the week before Thanksgiving, the amount of packages shipped doubled to 17, and I was told to pick up two items that same week (one at Walgreens, the other at Best Buy). I was given a forged authorization letter from the supervisor to complete this, but that fell through when the employees of said locations became suspicious. When my supervisor heard about it, she was annoyed at me, claiming that the memo should have been enough. The number of packages start to trickle down starting during the week of Thanksgiving, at 5 for that week. The last two packages were sent on the week following Thanksgiving, during which time when this Nancy Thorn person repeated the purchasing assistant offer (of which I never accepted, as I discovered that the job description is money laundering), with these packages being shipped out the following week. Payday came and went on December 11. I questioned the supervisors that day as to when I can expect my pay. The supervisor gave me an invalid excuse of a power outage, and assured me that I would be paid by the end of that day, and the next morning, I was promised by another supervisor that I would get an extra bonus, bringing the expected wage to $2700 or so, and that was the last communication that I ever had with the supervisors. By the end of that week, the notification system alerted me that one of the labels were no good. The next week, I realized that I was locked out of the online dashboard, and that my calls to my supervisors were either blocked or unresponsive. The proposed pay, as well as the replies to correspondence, never came. Later that day, I realized that I have been scammed, and I reported it to the FTC, Postal Inspectors, and the BBB. Later, I returned the un-shipped merchandise to the local post office, and told my story, and I was told that I was scammed and my address was victimized. Of all packages that have been shipped out, all but one were to be shipped out domestically, while one was destined overseas I lost both time and money, about $200 for shipping supplies, and hours traveling to/from courier stations and post offices, stealing hours of valuable time every day, which took away my productivity. The email communications with the supervisors were choke full of spelling and grammatical errors, and everyone on the phone had accents unfamiliar to Americans. They always had their own excuses and wanted things done their way. They were experts at document forgery, and unhelpful when I had questions. They also tried to lure me into money laundering. They cut off access and contact shortly after payday, and their package control page was not encrypted. Their number is connected to Google Voice. They claim to be based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, but the address where they are based in is within a residential neighborhood, and the building at that address is a small family house, but not an office building. When I did WHOIS on their websites, as well as the IP addresses from emails received, they are most likely based in Latvia in Europe. This Depot Post is not an actual company, let alone a reputable one, but rather as a scam. Here are some of the people from Depot Post that I had to communicate with: Ariel Nagy, Nick Bremer, Nancy Thorn, Brodie Brum, and Ciara Damsky. I hope this is helpful and prevent others from falling for this scam. Take heed, or you will also suffer. I am now contemplating reporting Depot Post to multiple authorities.

Contacted about a job. Worked as per my contract and when my pay day cane around nothing was deposited into my account. Tried contacting them several times. No response.

There was an ad posted on Indeed for a "quality control inspector ". I applied. Got an interview right away on the phone then was hired. I was sent a contract. I started then to work for them. They gave me a username and password to login to the system. They used this(depot-dashboard.com) to where you login. Then I start to receive packages at my home. They would load into the system the shipping label, the customer name, and tracking number into the system for you to see. I would print the label, inspect the packages for either damage or missing items, then go to either a UPS or FedEx to ship it. It seemed legit. I did this for a month. They kept saying at the end of the month that if I do not ship all packages that payment will be delayed. But at the end, I didn't have anymore supplies so I can ship the packages. They promised at start of employment that they would provide such items and was never provided. I didn't have any money and was very dependent on the job. I kept asking about my paycheck and something told me to ask for a mailed paycheck instead of giving out bank information. They never mailed the check. Now they have disabled my account. They kept avoiding answering the question about pay and then kept saying if I do not send the packages that the payment would be delayed. I never received payment to this day. They also knew at the time towards the end of employment that I was ill and in need of the money so I can get gas to go to get medicine so I can also ship their packages. They never did nothing and never even acknowledge that. I included an image of their dashboard and what is owed to me. I am now 40 days without pay.

I received an email from Depot Post offering a position as a Quality Control Inspector which is a home-based opportunity with easy earning potential. They offer a fixed monthly salary of $1,500.00 plus a bonus of $50.00 for each successful package sent. They also promise an average income of $ 3,000.00/month (payday is once a moth).I had my phone interview and was hired immediately after confirming that i have a computer, a printer and internet. You will be receiving about 36 packages in the first 3 weeks then it slows down by the 4th week to a couple packages. When your payday arrives after 30 days , you will be locked out of your account and nobody will return your emails or calls. It is a scam.

This is the list of Depot Post employees i have dealt with : Darcy Da Costa , Nick Bremer, Ciara Damsky, Brodie Brum , Nancy Thorn.

I had been applying for jobs at home due to some limited mobility issues I've been having. Some where round the end of October or the beginning of November I received an email from Christian Broas inviting me to take the opportunity to apply with the company. So I went ahead checked them online and proceeded to do the application. They seemed like a legitimate company with I-9 forms and W-2's for tax purposes. Well the duties of the job was to merely print out the prepaid labels they provided through the dashboard. Ship them out via UPS or FedEx sometime USPS. Now, here comes the con they tell you it's a monthly payment you'll receive of $1500 base salary and $50 bonus for each successfully delivered package. KICKER: Once the date arrives for payment you receive NOTHING they block your phone number, disable your login and ignore ALL and ANY communications or correspondence. I'm incline to believe that somehow these items that were being delivered are stolen or somehow false identities have been utilized to purchase these high end pieces.I been in contact with the IRS, Dept of Labor in Florida where the office is based out of. I have also been in touch with the Attorney General's Office.

I was contacted by email from Lonnie Corado & also Warren Vargas. They said I could make $3000 a month by receiving packages at my home, inspecting them, labeling them, & then shipping them overseas. It sounded like easy money but then I got suspicious. I looked up their address & its a small 2 bedroom house in Port St. Lucie, FL. So now they have my name, email address, & phone #. They're also known as Depot Post of America.
