Someone hacked a friend’s Facebook account and private messaged me, asking me how I am doing. After trading pleasantries the scammer wanted to know if I filed for the grant yet. It seemed weird right away. When I asked my friend what she was talking about, she replied: “It a developmental program for financial aid. The department of health and humanitarian service grant program. Are you aware?You should apply. They are granting everyone for financial aid and if you are approved and eligible to receive the grant you can receive anything you want or request for depending on your reasons for application.” Knowing it was a scam I called them out in it and they still gave me a phone number to call: +19125840351.
