I ordered one Derila pillow but they charged me for four pillows. When I saw their mistake, I contacted them immediately but they said that the order had already been filled. After the pillows arrived, I initiated a return only to discover that they only accept returns in Lithuania. The postage would cost more than the value of the pillows. I have lost CAN$150. on this transaction.

I accidentally ordered 2 pillows, 2 pillow cases and warranty as i hit the order button and not the off button of my phone.

I called the company and reported my error.

They said there would be no problem, i just need to go to UPS to return.

While on the phone with a Derila agent, i went to UPS and the UPS agent said the return shipping fee was $100.00 because the product was being shipped out of country.

As much as i hope to be reimbursed, if i can help anyone from experiencing the same scam, all is good.

Please instruct me as to other agencies i can reprt this to.

When you order one pillow, they end up charging you for 4 pillows period and then they tell you. They cannot do anything about refunding the money period then they require you to return the product and go through a long process to get the label, and then when you go to ship it, it has to be shipped to Lithuania which cost you about a $150 to ship back. When you call to ask for the refund, they try to offer you other things. So you do not get your money back.

I ordered a neck pillow and 2 pillow covers. The website says they have a satisfaction guaranteed return policy of 30 days. Pillow did not help me. It was shipped from NY, but when you try to return it, you find out you have to pay return shipping to Lithuania. In my case, it would cost $75 to return it. I contacted co. to ask about this. I was told "we have local

warehouses available around the

globe for the purpose of keeping

stocks. This way, we may meet the

standards set by our shipping policy

However, we do not have an

arrangement with these warehouses

and we can only receive returned

orders here in Lithuania at the

moment." There are customer reviews on their site and I asked how I could put my review on there. I was told their website doesn't have a review section. So, you can't warn others that they will not be able to get their $ back due to this. When you go to fill out the return form, they try to get you to donate your pillow to hospitals in the Ukraine.

When you place an order online with Derila they do not give you any way to confirm your order so when ONE, I ordered, I was surprised to discover that there was an auto input for 4 pillows! As soon as you input any payment information it automatically bills you without giving any chance to confirm and place the order. It then makes it seem like you would be navigating to the final checkout page by asking you if you want any add ons, like a pillowcase etc. No opportunity to view the entire bill until it is irrevocable. When I wanted to return the extra three pillows for a refund and pay the shipping too as they were unopened. After being unethically charged for4 pillows, I IMMEDIATELY emailed them and tried to cancel the order, but they refused, and instead tried bribe me with a "free cookbook" and some other garbage, and said I could not cancel the order but would have to wait until I received it, and had to utilize their 30 day refund policy. So I received the pillow, decided to give it a shot, used it for 2 days and realized the pillow actually made my neck HURT WORSE, and decided to utilize the 30 day refund policy.

Well guess what? This was yet another lie. I had a representative email me, trying to guilt trip me into donating the pillow instead of just letting me return it, providing horrible customer service without providing the information needed to return. When FINALLY I get the information on returns and I go to the Post Office to return it they tell me it is going to cost me $250 to return the pillow because it needs to be shipped to LITHUANIA where their warehouse is, and the company doesn't pay for return shipping costs. It was sent from US but must go back to Lithuania for $250. To add insult to injury, they now email me with a new product every single day - you unsubscribe from one and another product comes up. Almost 2 months now and the harassment continues with no mention of refunds/ returns.

The company needs a check, should either be blacklisted and innocent Canadians must not be fleeced.

Derila Pillows return policy is a scam. I already reported this company for scamming in their ordering process. Their returns go to LITHUANIA!

I completed Derila's return form online. It was difficult to find on their website because the instructions are wrong, misdirecting the user. The confirmation email I received said I have to return the THREE pillows they sent me to a European country. The address for returns is Returns - Logismart Galines g. 1, 13-14 rampa, Galine, LT-14247 Vilniaus r. .Lithuania. ALL the addresses and references to locations in the Ordering process are in the US and Canada. There is no information about a return address in Lithuania! I checked the USPS rates, and I would pay more for postage than the $75 I expect as a refund, must complete a Customs form and perhaps deal with a VAT tax.

PLEASE shut down this huge scammer business. There is no hint of the scam on the ordering side (I ordered ONE pillow and was charged for and received FOUR pillows), and this return procedure is not only difficult to locate on the Derila.com website, it is financially and functionally ridiculous. Using the USPS to deliver gives a false sense of security, thinking about postal regulations that supposedly protect the consumer.

On Dec 31, 2023, I ordered ONE pillow. I was charged for and received FOUR pillows. I also ordered 2 extra pillow covers, which are not in question here.

As soon as I received the email receipt and saw FOUR pillows, I did my best to contact Derila Pillows - by phone and by email to MODIFY or to CANCEL the order. Nothing worked. I got two different reply emails: #1: Automated email: "Thank you for your recent purchase. Your order has already been processed in our state-of-the-art, automated warehouse, and we regret to inform you that modifications to the order are no longer possible. We will ship it as soon as possible.". #2. Automated email: "Our team is currently out of the office, celebrating the New Year with friends and family. We will be away until January 2nd, 2024, and will have limited access to email during this time." and "Rest assured, we will get back to you as soon as possible upon our return."

There were other emails, but none about MODIFYING the order as I had requested. The package with the pillows arrived a few days after I had placed my order.

Derila memory foam pillow site automatically changes orders for one pillow to four and then refuses to correct the order. When you try to return the unwanted items, you need to pay for your return shipping to Lithuania and also pay a 15% restocking fee. They are unresponsive and are scamming customers. There's a whole Facebook group dedicated to the Derila pillow scam.

My poor wife ordered ONE therapeutic pillow from DERILA for approximately $20 plus tax and shipping. She was sent FOUR pillows for a total cost of about $120. She IMMEDIATELY called the company and they advised that the only way she could get her money back was to send the pillows back to.....LITHUANIA!..even though they were mailed from New York. Obviously that made return virtually impossible. That has SCAM written all over it. Now we're stuck with three extra therapeutic pillows we have no use for and we are out about $80 more than the original agreement. I researched reviews on this company and it looks like others have had similar experiences: order one, get 4. Order four, get 8...and forced to pay for the un-ordered balance.

I ordered 1 standard pillow total price $52. In a separate transaction I was billed for additional 4 king pillows for $128 which I did not order. Called customer service and was told to return them at my expense. Return shipping is Lithuania and they want me to pay to return items I didn't order and can't received the $128 back into my account they billed me for. Customer service told me that's the way it is cause they're hands are tied. Big Scam horrible business practices Big Rip Off!

I decided to order one pillow for $39 to try it out as it claims to offer a money back guarantee. Instead of showing a summary of my pending order, suddenly a screen appeared showing an order for four pillows and I received a notice from my credit card company that there was a pending order for $108. When I tried to complain the site offered me to click on to learn how to cancel my order. However instead of giving me instructions to cancel my order it basically told me that I need to remember that if I don't like the product I can just send it back. However then I look at the money back guarantee and they do not offer money back actually if you just don't like the product. Total scam and theft here! This company needs to be stopped!!

Same as 20 others I've just seen. Derila is advertising everywhere for their pillows. They adjust the number you order to FOUR and charge $118 when I ordered one $39 pillow.

Phone number is PAYPAL and my CHASE VISA was useless saying they can only act when charges are posted!!!!

I placed an order for ONE pillow. I was charged for FOUR pillows. I contacted them the same day the order was placed to inform them of their error. Their reply was that the order had already gone out. When I receive the product send back what I don't want, at my cost. Shipping the package back to Lithuania costs over $800 dollars. I tried contacting them to ask them why I had to pay for the shipping when the mistake was theirs and they said that was their policy. I am now stuck with 3 pillows I don't need/want and I am out of money.

When placing order for one item the website asks if you want to add items, several times before it allows you to check out. When you finally check out you think its only for your original item but then a bunch more items were selected and you have no way of modifying the order. I immediately called the customer service number and they told me they would modify my order and not charge me. Then never sent me a follow up email and they charged me. I received the order and when I called to return the order they told me I had to mail to Lithuania. The cost to ship the items to Lithuania from the US is twice the cost of the items. Basically this company makes it impossible to return anything, they force you to stay with items you do not want.

Purchased two derila pillows. They are for neck support. The pillows that I received are these thin, crappy fake brand pillows. They look nothing like the pictures on the website. In order to return them for refund, there will be a restocking fee and they have to be in original packaging. (which was a vacuum sealed bag) These were said to be USA made and shipped. In order to return these I have to send them to Lithuania

Somehow when clicking 1 pillow to order, you suddenly have ordered 4 pillows with no way to immediately cancel the order. After leaving a message for customer service and receiving a return call from them the next day, I was informed that the product had already shipped and returns were possible once I received the pillows. Upon receiving the pillows and getting a good laugh at the size of each- which was half the size and width of a standard pillow (perfect for a 6 yr old), I wanted to return all of them. Sure, that's possible- but you have to ship them all the Lithuania! Shipped from NY but returns are required to send back to a distributor in Lithuania. It costs more to return ship than the total cost of the 4 pillows.

Derila sends a pillow that is significantly lower quality than described on their website. Derila offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, and says item can be returned if you don't want it anymore. However, it must be returned to a warehouse in Lithuania, and shipping costs far exceed the cost of the product.

Others that have purchased from this company have also been charged for more proslduct than they ordered, and again, are required to return to Lithuania for a refund, which costs 100s of dollars, with no guarantee the package will even reach the company.
