Selling $2800 item - Was contacted by "Caroline Andrew" "hearing impaired" via text so "couldn't call"..needed item asap as birthday present for son. "Caroline" tried to pay less..informed price was as it. Couple days later receive text - check was sent "Priority" for $1600 over asking price and if I could cash the check and give the $1600 to the "courier". Upon receiving the text I became upset stating they were scammers. They said I was insulting them the check was good and I would receive it soon. Upon receiving said check I immediately got a text at which point I told them to GO TO ***!
