I initially signed up online for personal loan. Shortly after I got several calls from different banks. One was Devon it finance. I spoke with my agent sent over required documents and was approved for 40,000. They request I send them 500 for the attorney to creat the contract. I sent this to them. I then was called and told that the funds are unable to be transfers until I am able to send them 3 months of payments which would be refunded after transaction. I sent this amount. Then I was told this was not able to transfer I needed to set up a escrow account of 2,500 wich I sent. I was then told that I was to late with all the time and that needed to hire another escrow officer. I refused and wanted to cancel my loan. They stated I would have penalties and it would take 3-6 months to see my return. I then filed filed a report with police department, BBB, FBI and federal trad commission. As I felt I was being scammed. I have not heard back from any of the agencies. Several months go by and Devon it finance call me again. They stated that the agent on my file was no longer working and he would take my loan over. He stated that he would do what he could and honer my contract. He even sent me a comment letter. I have several of these. My initial loan process was in August of 2017. They have continued to call me with different agents with different tactics to tray and have me send more money. This agency is a scam you wil talk with many different people and get nothing in return. I want to protect other people from my naivety. Do not do business with this company.
