I was contacted through my e-mail about a work at home job making $24 to $35 dollars an hour. I had an interview on google hangouts and they said that I did really well with the interview and that they were going to change my job description. They said that now I would be making up to $48 dollars an hour and all I had to do was print off and mail out checks, be his accountants assistant. I worked for a month and a half and never received any payment so I stopped working and asked for my money and that is when he told me that he can not afford to pay me because his boss was not paying him, he then told me that he would give me the money on Dec 7, 2018 but that came and went.

I received an email from this company regarding the ability to work from home. I had a google interview with them. I received a letter in which they offered me a position to be a front desk receptionist. They said I would get a check in the mail to purchase software. They sent me banking information for direct deposit. The check was in the amount of $4092.24.

(*** *** ** * *** ***)At 1st this seemed too good to be true but being as though I was recently fired the 1st week of December and feeling down and out about having to cancel Christmas for my daughter I jumped on the opportunity of this job offer. I received an email from [email protected] you can read what the email says below:

So seeing this email I prompted to set up the interview via google Hangouts. Upon having said "Interview" I was offered the position of Administrative Assistant. After going through the whole process of what my so called job responsibilities are and that I would be working from home for the 1st 3 months until the company local office was completed and that I would receive a check in the mail to purchase items I would need to do my job from home. The check was in the amount of $4800 and my stupid desperate to get back to work self deposited that check, take a picture of the deposit receipt and send it to this Martin Rae character. After doing so I was prompted to purchase two $100 iTunes cards and to also take a picture of the front and back of the iTunes card (which my stupid naive self did because I was so happy to be working) and now I have a hold on my bank account. Come to find out the picture used by this Martin Rae character actually belongs to an Ohio Lawmaker. (I took a page out of the Catfish Tv show and did a google image search and that's is how I came to the conclusion that I was being scammed. I just wish I figured it out before I deposited that check.)
