I have direct deposit with chime. I get my social security check on the third. When it did not show up in my account on October 3rd I called social security they confirmed that it was sent to chime and it was out of their hands. Chime told me to wait a day. I waited two called chime again they continued to put me off trying to say they didn't have it. I talked to social security about five times to make sure I was not mistaken. I also called stride bank, the bank chime uses they said only chime has access to the money. Finally last week on Wednesday someone from chime confirmed that they had the check. They said it would be on by the end of the day. It wasn't and Thursday Friday and Saturday I was told the same thing by supervisors. They said they have the check and to just be patient it'll be on by the next business day. I called them today and they said that they do not have anything for me. Then they precede to tell me everything is fine as if nothing was even wrong I was transfered twice to a manager and a supervisor and they told me that there is no money. They did not seemed at all concerned with the situation. I'd think a finance based company would be extremely troubled by money being stolen especially a social security check. I told them that they themselves told me over three different managers that they had the money and they did not care what so ever. And they offered me no further assistance.

I have mental illness. It's troubling to think that a company like chime is stealing money from people with mental disabilities. People who already have a hard time with every day life and a hard time finding help when people take advantage of them, especially when it comes to things like this. Please let me know what steps to take next. I have no food. no other income. And I don't know how to go about pursuing this matter. And what do I do in the mean time until it's resolved. Thank u,
