Job scam Dharma Biomedical
Right away they were "impressed with my qualifications" and sent me a link to tell them what bank used as well as some employment screening questions. Once that was sent I received another email saying they were hiring quicker than expected and an offer letter was attached. This was for a job that was "flexible hours" and paid $27/hr.
The letter seemed suspect and the fact that I hadn't actually talked to a person over the phone yet they were offering me a job. I have previously worked in HR and the whole situations seemed off. The offer letter also mentioned that they would send me a check to purchase my own equipment.
I did further research and the company is an actual registered LLC, but has only 3 employees and makes very little money. After I did more digging on the number that was texting me I found where this number has also been used in other scams. Thankfully I didn't accept and get and went with my gut feeling.
