while searching hotels on websites, big red warning box popped up on my computer screen stating that my computer was infected with virus and my information is compromised. It gave a phone number to call Windows Tech Support for a FREE fix. I called number and they said they could fix the virus for $398.00, which I stupidly paid by scanning a personal check. After thinking about it, I stopped payment on check since I had put it in the mail. They provided a website but when I tried getting into that, message came up that the "account has been suspended". I Googled their address and it comes up in a residential section as a house.
