Guys, you saved me 600 dollars. I was going to purchase Boris from them tomorrow. I fell in loveeee with Boris???? I wanted him so bad... If any of you have purchased a Maine C o o n in a real website please let me know.

I have been messaging them as well for Jake. I felt something was off so I started googling and am so glad I found this site. I was about to send them the money. I even asked them for info and they sent me the attached email. They are quite the con artists. Using God’s name to steal from people... smh. They will surely get what’s coming to them.

Thank you! I am in the same boat I wanted Samo and something seemed “to
good to be true” so I did digging and found all you! Thank you all for you honesty and help!

I got her to send me this.

We almost bought Mavis from “Christopher” and Kristen. They had just asked us to seller money when we noticed they were listed as registered with TICA or any of the other associations. One these was even for Bengal cats only. Total scam. So many emails back and forth, even videos. They have changed their name again. https://www.chrismainecoonkittens.com/

I was just about to finish up with them. I actually think they’re scamming me from 2 different sites at the same time and just don’t know it. My son and I were trying to decide between Mavis and Bobo. Until I noticed I Simba in a picture on a different site completely! Super sadmad. Bunch of [censored]. My opinion.

I just found this sight and glad I did. We have been looking for a MaineCoon and we were impressed by the price for such wonderful features. I was uncomfortable with such vague information on their site (mainecooncatsnkittens.com). After my inquiry I received a basic email requesting more info about myself. I kept my responses simple without giving away too much personal info. When I received an acceptance email without ever giving them a vet reference a huge red flag went up. I started googling them and this page popped up. So sad someone could do this. The last email I just received is below. Thank you to all for posting here and being so detailed about your experiences.

I was just about to send money for Simba also 1/28/21. and did some research and found this. Thanks for documenting this. Exact same email exchange etc. as the one documented for https://www.mainecooncatsnkittensforsale.com/available-kittens above. Kirsten and Christopher

My husband was looking at purchasing a Maine C o o n kitten. So we went on the hunt to find one. We stumbled upon the following website https://www.mainecooncatsnkittensforsale.com/available-kittens

We fell in love with Simba and instantly knew we had to have him. So we emailed them letting them know we were interested in Simba. They emailed us back with the "sorry for the late response, we have bad internet service here" which seems like they have said this in multiple forms to other people. They sent a questionnaire to see if we qualified. They said they were impressed and would love to place Simba in our home. I asked Kirsten J Smith what type of payment they accept. She told me Zelle, which I thought was a little off but on second hand it is an easy way to transfer money, so we went forward with it. I should have taken this as sign #1. Her "husband"s" name is apparently Christopher Teeqwaun. They gave us the following Zelle information:

First Name : Christopher
Last Name: Teeqwaun
Email Address: [email protected]
And to put Simba in the memo.

I tried sending the money from my bank account and it kept saying couldn't complete the transaction, I should have taken this as sign # 2. Well my husband decided he'd try from his bank account and it let him send it. However when the transaction went through it said the payment went to registered user James Teeqwaun and not a Christopher Teeqwaun. Which also struck me as odd.

I sent them payment confirmation and they told me they didn't receive it so we better cancel it and send them the American Express Gift card and receipt instead. I didn't feel comfortable with that so we called our Bank and got confirmation that the payment did indeed transfer and we emailed confirmation. Kirsten then says yea we received it I need to round up Simba's things and then get the change of ownership signed. She sent us the form I signed it and sent it back, but the certificate looked so fake. I immediately started searching for certificates online to see if there was a generic one, I didn't see it. I searched the address and her name on the certificate and that's when I found this website and confirmed what a scam this is! I'm filing a report and I'll do whatever I can to get her shut down. This is ridiculous and I'm sorry to everyone who thought they were getting an adorable fluff ball and never did!

I have been talking back and forth about a kitten then felt something off and then found this page. She is waiting on me to send her money now. I got her to send me her info. Maybe you can use this for your police report.

Karma is a b[censored]. I came across the page about these amazing maine [censored] kittens, almost a week ago. and I fell in love with BoBo, so i emailed them, they gave me all the information on him, thought $500 was a little off, but they seemed so real and trustworthy, they asked some questions, I told them about my cat I grew up with since I was 5, and he died about 3 years ago, as he turned 19. they said they really wanted me to have him. My Zelle account wasn’t working, so I gave them $500 in American express gift card, then they gave me ownership papers, everything seemed so real. Then they had the “airport” email me, about delivery. the airport was Express Logistics Movers, so I thought. they gave me a flight and tracking number and everything, then we came across the whole crate rental, WHICH WAS 100% REFUNDABLE so I gave them the $650 for that, i just wanted my little baby as soon as possible. then, another thing happened, they then emailed me and asked for pet insurance, and told me to email the senders and ask about it, so I did and they claimed everything was closed and they weren’t able to get it in time, which I didn’t really think about. I was under a lot of pressure trying to get everything done before he was suppose to be shipped. so then I unfortunately gave the $950 for temporary pet insurance, WHICH AGAIN 100% REFUNDABLE. and they said they would send me an update on tracking information. and I still have not received it, and I emailed Kristan. I still have not gotten an email from either, i think they got all the money they can get out of me. so I think they are done and are now waiting for their next victim. did some research and some digging, found this and all I have to say is, F[censored] YOU. KARMA IS COMING B[censored].

We just had this happen. I decided to go this route after 4 rescue kittens had been adopted before we had been able to make it to the shelter. We recently had to put one of a bonded pair down and now our boy is having a really hard time. This is just heart breaking. So much wasted time. I would just go adopt any available kitty, but i wasn't planning on getting another one for hopefully 20 years. The kids will be grown by then. Just sad. We were looking at karli. Though i was really partial to oreo and molly. Whoever actually owns and bred these cats, well done! I even asked for video and they sent it rather quickly. That put me at ease that she existed for awhile.

I feel like I’m having the same issue with Cross Roads Maine C o o n Home. I saw their add on Craig's List and replied. They responded pretty quick and said they could sell for $400 and ship from Cleveland OH. I looked them up on google and a website came up called Crossroadmainecoonhome.com
There’s a lot of info on their but it seems odd and their email responses have been super fast even at 1am

Exact same thing just happened to me $500 out and asking for a heated carrier $750 to fly the Cat to LAX!

I’m calling the bank and reporting this scam and the police Dept with all my documents. Do not send them your money ever!

We bought Simba too. I don't know how people like this sleep at night. What did the police tell you? Our bank said they can't do anything to refund money through Zelle.
Cross Roads Maine C o o n Home. Kristen Maine C o o n Cats and Kittens, Maine C o o n Home. There are other websites and domains connected to these same people.

I was surprised to see Maine C o o n Kittens for so little money. My boyfriend and I fell in love with Mia so we immediately sent an email requesting information. After receiving a response 12 hours later that stated “sorry for the delayed response” I decided I should do some more research and found this site. I am so happy I did not send any money! I do want a Maine [censored] Kitten but make sure you do your research!

These people I’m filing a police report

She has changed the name of the site: https://www.mainecoonkittensforsalee.com/available-kittens
But it is the same kittens, name, and phone number.
Just letting everyone know to beware

She is trying to scam me also. Here is the info for police reports.

I'd love to show up on her doorstep.

I went to diamond Maine [censored] and took an interest in Bobo. I knew something was up when I put in an application and was approved in less than 24 hours. I was sent pictures and videos of Bobo, which seemed legitimate. I was then told the price of Bobo was $500 which raised a red flag to me as these are not cheap pets. The person then asked me to Venmo them money, I did not agree to that. The person said they live in New Jersey, I live in New York so I asked if my fiancé and I could meet in person to exchange the cash and pick up the cat. There was no answer to that email. I then emailed them again accusing them of being scammers and again no reply. Luckily I am not out of money with this, but this company is NOT LEGIT.
I can also confirm from other complains that that was the email/name/phone number and cash app information I was provided.

My boyfriend and I, just this morning, were legitimately about to send the money when the Zelle account name didn't match her or her "husband Christopher"... did some digging and found all of these posts. TICA, the organization that they say they are registered with also didnt have them registered and also had complaints of it being a scam. So unfortunate.

I went on the diamond Maine [censored] website and found this kitten I liked and contacted the people ! It seemed so real told me comes with a package, shots, videos, pictures everything for $500. The day I sent the money they had sent shipping tracking information which I couldn’t track the kitten so I went to the airport and nothing. And now no response at all, so I looked online and found out that it’s all a scam. Be careful so you don’t get $500 taken from you like I did!

I was interested in a kitten(Bobo). Everything seemed real, they even sent my several photos and a video. I became suspicious when the cost and method for payment came into play (payment by cashapp or zelle). They also said the total for shipping, the kitten, and a care package was $500, which is obviously too good to be true. I then began doing my research and realized these people have the same experience as I did. The person seemed genuine, but it's all for show. Please be careful! Their website homepage has misinformation if you take the time to look into it.

Hello my friend I was just scam for the same kitten I lost $500 two days ago an now am mad I got a question for you ate able to get ur money back some how did u tried getting ur money back?

My kids found a kitten they wanted in "www.diamondmainecoonhome.com" and I have contacted them in their domain's
contact section with one of the listed kitten "LEO" and received back an email from
"[email protected]" with detailed info about /w kitten's pictures and video asking more info
about the house and environment to check whether our house is suitable for that kitten.
then they sent the price as $400 with shipping its $500 and once the money is transferred to their account, they
will register the kitten under our name and ship it with tracking number. asking to send the money as following
Zelle email : [email protected]
Zelle First Name: ... Cathy
Last Name: ... Byron
Amount :$500
as its on Zelle which is authorized for bank of america, I thought they are real and sent the money and they
responded with receipt and asked me to sign a kitten transfer document(attached), scan and send to them once I sent it, they
sent me fake shipping info using another fake domain "https://www.expertguaranteeshippers.com/track-trace/"
with email ID "[email protected]" with following shipper info
NAME OF SENDER: Kirsten J Smith
ADDRESS : 8305 Wessex Pl, Princeton, NJ 08540
Phone number : +1-609-293-0411
then there are no updates from either shipper nor shipping company and no response for any of my emails or calls.
so asked my wife to send a request for the same kitten from her email ID and soon enough got a response from
the same email-id saying the same kitten is still available with exact info sent to me.

One of my co-workers asked me to help him send Gift Card information to a place that he found a Maine [censored] Kitten for sale for $500 that was 11weeks old (Bobo). They received the money and said they would get back with shipping information. They sent tracking information from expert guarantee shippers. Everything looked real! There was even a tracking number etc. The shipping company then sent an email that they needed a "Thermal Pet Carrier" which he would rent for $750 and once the kitten was shipped, the money would be returned. Immediately we knew it was a scam because I had been searching red flags because I didn't feel good about it. Everything looked so REAL!!!! We checked the gift card and obviously all of the money was gone.
