I saw on offer up her car that she was selling so I contacted her. She told me to email her personally for more information so I did. She gave me a better description of the car and pictures as well. Her story was that she was going out to sea for military purposes and she needed to sell her car fast. So i gave her my phone number and address, which she then gave it to "eBay". They shortly contacted me and told me i had to pay them through ebay gift cards. So I paid them the $1000.00 that they had asked for. Shortly after that they email me back saying that I needed to pay another $1000.00 the exact same way. This time they explained that it was for the shipping expenses and other paper work and that I would get that money back. So i did just that. Then today, which is the day that the car was supposed to arrive at my address, they emailed me once again tell me that I needed to pay an additional $1000.00 because I am paying a virginia state law fee to get it through virginia. Then I told myself that I would not send any more money. I contacted the eBay customer support service and they told me that I had nothing to do with them and that I was being scammed. So I was scammed for a total of $2000.00
