Wanted to rent house off Craigslist. The landlord is located out of state and needs someone to rent the house. She needed a deposit as well as the first month's rent. She specifically wanted it in moneygram $1500 in order for her to sent me the lease and the keys through mail.

After I sent them the money gram, I found out the house was posted on a housing agency site and called the agent. Then I knew that the landlord out of state was a scammer.
