Large discounts, only 15 minutes to make purchase before discount goes away. Looked exactly like official dicks sporting goods website

There was an add on facebook showing that dicks sports goods had a sale on Stanley cups for $19 and if you bought more than one you got an additional discount. When you pulled up the page it looked like dicks website. In the comment section of the post there were hundreds of people commenting on how they received their cups. I received an email that appeared to be directly from Stanley cups with tracking information. The tracking website looked a bit odd but I didn't think anything of it. The website was track718.us. I placed this order on May 21st. On 6/3/23 I emailed them asking about the tracking because nothing had been updated. They stated they could see the tracking and sent me the information again and it showed that it was transit from China. I figured I would give it a couple of days/weeks to see if anything changed. Today I checked and I could no longer get on the tracking information and the website when I click on it is now showing Marc Jacobs. The website address however is not Marc Jacobs but phoebeh.online. I had already thought maybe I was being scammed but was given the benefit of the doubt, but today confirmed it. I did not catch that when I initially ordered it that the actual website address more than likely was not dicks sporting goods.

I saw an ad on Facebook that was branded as Dick's Sporting Goods, selling Stanley cups on sale. I purchased two cups for a total of $29.99. I received a receipt confirmation with tracking number. About a month later I realized I never received the product and checked the tracking. It shows it was delivered to Florida and I live in North Carolina. I found an email on the original receipt confirmation email and emailed to ask for a refund as my product was delivered incorrectly. We went back and forth, in broken English, and our conversation was left as - "Hi, We will contact the warehouse to check whether there is a wrong shipment. Please wait patiently for 3-5 business day." This was on May 5, 2023. This is obviously a scam and I'm sure there are hundred of others in the same boat. They also now have my banking information.

There was an Ad on Facebook for Stanley 40 oz cups, buy 2 for $30. The ad used the logo for Dick’s Sporting Goods. This gave me confidence that it was legitimate. I received confirmation with a tracking number. For a while the tracking was in Chinese, when it arrived in the US it indicated that it was delivered to Alaska. I emailed them and they said they were checking into it. I followed up 2 weeks later and they said they were still trying to find it. My daughter also ordered one of these, and the same thing happened to her, her cup was delivered to someone in Arkansas. I have asked for my money back. But have had no luck.

Scammer is posing as Dick’s Sporting Goods. I purchased a set of discounted dumbells (who’s the dumbell?) I contacted their customer service email to cancel transaction (3X) , they have yet to respond.

I received an email that Dick's Sporting Goods was offering a sale on Stanley Cups - $19.99. It looked like Dick's Website the whole time. I placed the order in April. They sent confirmation and a tracking number. It took a month to be able to track it. . . and it stated my cup was delivered to Florida, I live in PA. I found the email to report an issue. . it was [email protected]. . then I knew it was a scam. I emailed them and in broken English I received a response saying they were looking into it. I emailed again asking for a refund and again received a 4 sentence email that they were looking for it. Now they have my name, address and banking info. This is very upsetting.

- Houston, TX, USA

I clicked on an ad for to purchase a Stanley cup for a discounted price. The website I was directed to looked like a legitimate website. I realized it was a scam after receiving a confirmation email from a weird email address. I immediately called my credit card company to dispute the charge & lock my credit card.

- Bethel, NC, USA

Social media ad listed seeking of Stanley Cups. I purchased 2 totaling almost $30. They provided confirmation and tracking however the order was delivered to an address in Florida, not mine.

Reached out several times and they're delaying any customer service. Will be fighting this charge with my bank.

- Bastrop, LA, USA

I got a email from Dicks Sporting good saying if I take this survey I would receive a RTIC cooler backpack. Then they said after I filled the survey to pay for shipping and handling of 8.95. And just yesterday 107.55 was deducted from my checking acct that I had no ideal was gonna take place. I never received the cooler or anything. These scammers need to be stopped!! I have learned my lesson. Never do online surveys again!!

- Texas City, TX, USA

Facebook, listed as Dick’s sporting goods

Stanley Tumbler for $19.99 took Venmo payment as Rh*echtspecials.com

The next day my Venmo account was hacked and fraudulent charges started to appear. Venmo declined the charges, sent out a new card and it’s hacked as well.

Email contact for purchase is : [email protected]

They reply with fraudulent tracking number, that is delivered to Florida. Not even close to my address in Texas.

- Eagle, ID, USA

received an email that looked like it was from Dicks Sporting Goods. For answering a survey I would receive a Igloo Cooler for $1.95 in shipping. As soon as this was done I received a confirmation email that they received my order for shipping of $1.95 and also an order for $99.95 for a video game. I called my credit card company immediately and they say I was charged the entire amount. I called the support line for the survey and they told me that I was entered in a contest to win a cooler and they also charged me for the video game that was never part of the contest. They told me they would refund me 35 % of my order. I told them this was a scam and they said they would refund me 35%. I told them that I was going to file a fraud claim with my credit card as soon as the charges are posted.

I ordered a Stanley brand travel mug from a Facebook ad that said dicks sporting goods. It was half off and I paid via my credit card. It was shipped all over China for 4 weeks before receiving the notification today that it arrived at my house. I have not received it.

- Winter Springs, FL, USA

Ad was on Facebook - looked VERY similar to Dick's Sporting Goods (down to the logo and layout of their actual website). Purchase of the popular Stanley mugs at a discounted rate (with discount code).
