I saw a Facebook ad for Stanley Cups at a great price from Dick's Sporting Goods. I almost never click links on FB but this one seemed legit so I did. The site looked like I was ordering from Dick's Sporting Goods so I purchased 3 - 30oz tumblers and included express shipping hoping they would arrive before Christmas. After several minutes without a confirmation email, I looked at my credit card account and saw a pending purchase of $65.97 from Zeactrade.com that appeared to be a business in Belfast North GB. I then called Dick's and an associate confirmed that the company was not running ads on FB and if I had purchased something from Dick's, I would receive an email directly from Dick's confirming my purchase and another with shipping information - - neither of which were received so I immediately contacted my credit card company. Once the payment posted, they provided me with a "temporary credit" while they investigated the charge. Apparently the credit card company received a "shipping history" from this Zeactrade.com indicating that the shipment began its journey from "China" on 12/19/23 and was "delivered to addressee" on 12/30/23 so they reversed the credit and gave the scammers $65.97!!! Needless to say I did NOT receive the Stanley tumblers or any emails from this Zeactrade.com!! I will be contacting my credit card company again to report this! Lesson learned.
