Through a FB ad for Dick's Sporting Goods, I purchased sneakers on 1/20/25. They had the actual logo for Dicks. I purchased with a credit card for $129.85. I received an email receipt with a picture of the items and logo of Dicks. After not receiving the items and no delivery info, I started to look for contact information and only found an email of [email protected]. I looked up Dicks Customer service number and called. They said they never sell on FB, only thru their website. I knew I had been scammed. I wrote to the email and received an email back saying they would get me in contact with the delivery person, in broken English. There was no identifying information on the emails and no delivery information was provided. The message was very vague. I am worried that they have my credit card information.

Exactly as the last report indicated. Thought I was buying from a legit Dick's Sporting Goods site that was advertised on Facebook marketplace, but never received a confirmation email after making my purchase.

I saw on Instagram an ad claiming to be Dick's Sporting Goods. I really should have known, the prices were so cheap! But they are using the Dick's logo. I purchased 4 coats. When the confirmation email came moments later, it was not from Dick's, but this: [email protected]. I immediately called my credit card company to report the fraud. They're taking care of that part, and let's face it, it's not a lot of money, but I did want to report this. It's the most brazen imposter merchant that I have encountered. Thank you!

The advertisement was from Dick's Sporting Goods for Hoka sneakers. It was online. I thought I was purchasing from Dick's but I found out after I purchase the sneakers for S29.99 plus shipping 6.99 that it wasn't Dick's. I sent an email trying to stop payment and/or to cancel order but they did not reply. They replied my order was confirmed and I would receive it by May 21st. I have emails and tracking info under name of Universal Parcel Tracking. They did take the money of $36.98 out of my bank account under the name of WZP ADAFASHION.
