I received an email from "Dicks Sporting" about winning a Yeti cooler worth over $200 if I fill out an online survey. I clicked the link to the survey and there were posted comments from previous customers that said things like, "I didn't believe this survey prize was real, but then I completed it and it was!". After completing the 10 question survey about my experience with Dicks Sporting, I filled out an address form for where I want to cooler to be delivered. I then sent my credit card information to cover shipping expenses. After I completed everything I received a message saying "Thank You and Good Luck!" with a specific order number listed. Ten minutes later, it dawned on me that this was a scam. I reported this to my credit card company and asked for a new credit card.
