The scammer pretended to be Joel S******** of the group For King and Country. The imposter tricked me into putting $3254 on a Chase credit card. I have tried to dispute the fraudulent charges with Chase but they are not believing me that this was all a scam and that I was tricked and deceived into buying gift cards with promise of getting money back. I have not received any of the money and Chase is saying I owe it all back. The imposter then continued tricking me into taking $2900 out of savings with promise that everything that I spent would be returned. I have pictures of all the gift card receipts that I can send as proof. My family went to the concert on Saturday December 16th in Tulsa, Oklahoma and found out it was a total scam. We have not received a penny of it back. The scammer then tried to login into my Facebook from an iphone from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I took a screenshot of this. This attempt was blocked by Facebook. The imposter then used a phony email of *************************************** to try to gain control of my Facebook account. I also took a screenshot of this and have got the phony email address removed. The imposter then used a phony email address of ************************* and a phony work number of (***) ******** to try to gain control of one of my credit cards. I was able to put my email address back as the primary email, delete the fake one and put my phone number as my work number so scammer would not gain control of one of my credit cards. I have changed my email, Facebook, credit card passwords and my banking passwords and have started new banking accounts to try to further prevent imposter from trying to gain control of any of my information. The imposter sent my wife a couple phony pictures and a fake passport that I can send as further proof to try to catch the scammer. I have filed a report with the Missouri Attorney General's office where I live. The initial report came back that I probably won't receive any money back. Have not received final report back. I have also filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission to try to get money back, and to prevent my identity from being stolen and hopefully catch the imposter. I Have not received anything from the Federal Trade Commission yet. Let me know if you need any more information.
