Sean Vargas ext 228 - I called back on a vm left for me. Claims 2015 CapOne CC owed $1500, now with fees, penalties & legal = $8125. Said orig CapOneCC tried to get payment; no response. Said LCL collections mailed numerous notifications; no response. Said they filed a legal judgement w/the county I reside and had a process server out to serve me but I wasn't home. NOTE: I work from home so that did not happen. I have also called my county clerk's office to ask them to search for a signed judgement of service and they didn't show my name listed. I also called my district county clerk's office to ask them the same and nothing. I am going to call this entity back and let them know I've done extensive research and believe they are a scam. The two Adler & Assoc shown on the Calif Sec of State are for entertainment and intellectual property; I found no reference for the name as legal entities.
