Scam/Fraud

Received a text Sun Sept 17,2023 stating I was due for a upgrade on my ADT security system and would receive a free door bell or camera. It really looked to be real.So I scheduled a appointment for Tuesday Sept 19th 19am-2pm. I called ADT this morning Sept 19 because they always send me a Gmail confirmation and a text confirmation from a certain 5 digit number that they use to confirm your appointment and you have to send message back confirming. I never received either. So I called ADT before these people where to show up to verify. ADT told me it's a Scam and they didn't send this text. Then a phone call came in from Maryland 443-496-3814 it was to let me know they were on their way. I told them NO do not come on my property,they were a Scam and I had already contacted ADT. I also told them to have ADT contact me personally and hung up.
