I signed up to be a gig worker with Diem the App and you have to give driver's license info (they confirm your ID before you clean peoples' houses) AND bank account info (they don't offer PayPal payment), and it's only AFTER you give them this info that you see the back end where they have NO jobs and haven't had any jobs for a year and haven't been active for 3 years. I think this is a scam to get personal info and steal identities or sell personal info since they don't seem to be in business anymore, but their apps are still active (Diem-Get Paid and Diem-Home Services). I've contacted Diem multiple times (via their website, email, Facebook messenger, and phone) asking them to confirm they’ve deleted my info and they still have not confirmed it's deleted, just that they're looking into it. Now the phone number is not working. I first contacted them on July 31 through their website contact form and it's been almost 2 months trying to get an answer from them, so I would like more robust help holding them accountable and let others know not to sign up to be a gig worker with Diem in case they aren't legit. They deleted a job posting from Indeed.com for house cleaners a month after I started inquiring with them about deleting my info, but deleting a job posting wouldn't be necessary if they're still in business (it's not like other gig companies have job descriptions that expire). I have a screenshot of the deleted posting but couldn't attach it to this complaint. I wonder if Diem realizes I'm serious about exposing them and they're starting to cover their tracks?
