Was emailed by [email protected] for an employment opportunity as an escrow assistant. Being I was in the market for a second job, preferably work from home, I took it because the website and correspondence seemed legit. They offered a $45k annual salary, sent over a contract which was signed by both me and them. I sent over my bank account information for direct deposit. They said I would be paid at the end of each month. I was also on a probationary period of 30 days. They sent so many packages, nothing under the value of $500 and we had to ship them out to a different address. When tracking the tracking numbers, I noticed the packages were redirected to a different person. Usually, it was the same few names I saw. Once the 30 days was over, there was no pay check, packages stopped coming, the website no longer works and emails to "HR" bounce. When called about my paycheck, I just got hung up on and blocked. It seems that I am blocked on everything, hence why I can't even access the phony website. This place owes me about $6,000 for one month employment, mileage and supply reimbursement. Unfortunately, you can't reimburse time. They made it clear that I needed to be available from 9-5pm Monday through Friday, so I was. I luckily was smart enough to get screen shots of EVERYTHING. I have several copies of the contract, screenshots of all emails/correspondences, screenshots of all tracking numbers used for reshipment, packing slips that came with the original packages before I reshipped them, names of people shipped to and from. Avoid this place at all costs. Once the 30 days was over, there was no more "tasks" and my account was blocked. My bank account was used for a purchase at Fedex a few days later after they closed my accounts. I had to go and change all my information over, including getting a new debit card as they had seemingly stolen that information.
