This company is a real scam. They are supposed to protect your computers, phones ,router security, email security ,printer security from any issue

that may be encountered. They charge you a fee,and then a year later they tell you new issues have arisen and you need to pay more money to have them covered. So to be protected you do so....until you tell them you will pay... but pay no more. They write a letter saying " This is your official agreement telling you that they have installed security software on your devices, and if in the future,if they have to install any security or have to purchase any license key for any of the mentioned devices, you will not be charged "A SINGLE PENNY" from their side. They say this is the last payment and that services will automatically be renewed. Now once again today they call and say we need to pay more to have something additional covered . Evidently their word is worth nothing and they say that you will no longer be covered. As you are talking to them they chose not to listen to your case anymore and hang up on you!!!This is unacceptable business behavior!!!

I originally called a number that I thought was for Gmail to help set up my account for my security cameras on my house. Some time after I set up the Gmail for my security cameras, I received a phone call from Digital Mechanics saying that someone is trying to hack into my network. I was told to pay $505 for lifetime support to protect my network. About 7 months later I received another phone call saying someone was trying to hack into my Yahoo email. Because I had a few times of not being able to get into my email, I thought it might be true. Digital Mechanics again said they could fix the problem by remotely accessing my computer and again another fee of $1,415 for lifetime protection to make sure my computer is protected. I did think this could be a scam but I had found nothing on this company when I looked them up on the BBB.org website. I recently contacted a Tech Security friend of mine and he told me that this was indeed a scam and helped me change some passwords to my Network. Unfortunately, I did already pay this company so I'm out the $1,920 but lesson learned.

Digital Mechanics LLC address for first time was located in FL. The second time they were located at:

438 N Orinda Ct., Tracy, CA 95391. Phone #866-550-0710 ([email protected])

I wish someone had reported them earlier so I could have stopped payment with my bank.

I had pulled out an old computer and I needed help in setting up a Gmail account. I Googled how to set up Gmail on my computer. I pulled up a page that showed Digital Mechanics LLC listed as Gmail support. I called the company at 855-737-7793. They answered with only Support. I was told they are in California and Florida. They finally gave the name Digital Mechanics, LLC. I thought I was on Gmail support. I gave my credit card number for $250 to set up my Gmail and virus protection. At first they asked for my debit card number. I did not give any passwords. They called back that the transaction did not go through. That is when I realized it was a scam. I called my bank and the bank declined the transaction.
