I'm not entirely sure if this is a scam or not & I can't honestly remember the exact name of the company. I never do these kinds of surveys/prize giveaways because I've done stuff like that in the past and it's lead me nowhere, except for continual endless surveys, or just more offers from random companies in your email inbox. However, I was scrolling through "Reels" on FB or Instagram, & I came across a video of a couple of guitar players, with guitar in hand, sitting there hosting a podcast together, &they looked like recognizable influencers, that I'm familiar with, & I feel as though I trust them, & why would they stake their entire social media career on some petty giveaway that doesn't work, or even worse,...Rips off their viewers? So anyway, I'm beginning to watch the video which I don't believe has even started playing yet, & I noticed there was a title at the top saying that they were giving away a guitar(which is common amongst these types of musical podcasts), & then a little box popped up(displaying itself over top of the video), that said, that they're giving away a 60s vintage Les Paul, & to enter, fill out a small survey, to be an eligible participant, that will be chosen at random, to receive the prize, & so I figured, "Why not at least check it out", & I clicked on the link. Rather surprisingly, it was only a very simple 3 question survey(suspicious). And the questions were all about personal details and descriptions of me, which is typical of these kinds of things(data mining). Which sort of raises red flags, but I thought, "Well it's only 3 vague questions". After you answer the 3 Q's, it takes you to a page where it tells you that you are still not guaranteed to win (there's also a timer which is sort of suspicious), product description /details of what you will receive, if u win, & some other stuff, but then takes me to a visual of, I believe, 9 little present animations, which was like a grid, with 3 presents, in each of the 3vertical columns, & I was given 3 chances(with aprox. a 2 min timer, activity counting down)to click on the correct "Gift", that reveals the prize inside. I participated in this, & by the 3rd click, it revealed an animation of a tiny little guitar popping out of the box. Btw, everything looked pretty official, for ex., The name of the company printed at the bottom of each page & in small writing, copyright info. It then told me that the only thing I'd need to pay for, was the shipping costs, of about $10, & I proceeded to check out, but to be safe I used my secured credit card, instead of my bank card. And then gave me a page that policy resembles an official received / breakdown of my order, tell me that it will be shipped, an order number, customer service number which I dialed and that seemed really sketchy so I just hung up, and everything seemed fairly legitimate, however, I quickly noticed that there is no way to check to see when the package will arrive, and/or a way to track your package. When I called the phone # that it provided, for "Customer support", it was an automated touch tone procedure, with only one numerical option; "press 9 to speak with a customer representative"(I may be paraphrasing). If you press 9 then it hangs up on you, & then you're immediately called back, from a strange new number, and if I'm honest it sounds like a noisy call center, & the person that I spoke to, did not seem like an actual professional & they spoke w/a foreign accent. He couldn't even provide me an official name of the supposed, "3rd party customer service company", that he claims to be affiliated with, & couldn't even tell me the name of the company that is gifting me this guitar. I even sort of called him out on this & he just said, "well let me see if we can get started on helping you Sir, all I need is your full name and your ZIP code, to begin", I said "hold on, give me a 2nd, then promptly hung up, & i even turned my phone off, so that he would just think that my phone had died. All of this happened a few hours ago, & I'm contemplating calling my credit card company, & asking them if they can check into this, but I am a little worried that they might inadvertently cancel a legitimate order, & then I won't receive the guitar, but then I literally just realized that the guitar is vintage, & therefore rare, & worth a lot of money, so why would anyone have that many of them to give away? Wouldn't it be more cost efficient for them to give away replicas? Even some of the reviews seemed a little bit sketchy. I almost forgot that it DID seem like they were representing Gibson or pretending to be them, & 1 of the survey questions was, "Do u, or have u ever, purchased Gibson products?" I'm honestly a little embarrassed that I've allowed this to happen. And I'm still struggling with a bit of denial here. Because it would literally be a dream come true to have a 60s Les Paul. I'm going to keep an eye on my email inbox. I'm also going to check to see if that purchase had gone through, which btw, ended up only being $7.95, I believe.

I'm the one that wrote this, & I apologize for how long it is, but I was just trying to be as thorough & descriptive as I possibly could, to help ppl. BTW I might have some screenshots that I can share. Websites called premiumdealoutlet.com and at the bottom of each page it says, copyright symbol, then 2024 gadget giveaway

I purchased a product for $7.95 through an email they sent me. Never received it. I used my credit card and have now been informed by my credit union that they attempted to charge me for another product for $79.95.. My credit union caught it, called me to confirm the purchase (which I did not). The card has been cancelled, and I will go and get a new one. Really?!?!?!

I was lead to believe the I had won the $5.99 pallet of electronics. All I had to do was pay. And it would be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. And it has not. I've contacted them and I'm waiting on their response. I'm sure I won't get that pallet or a response. But I will get the word out about this scam.
