Type of a scam Online Purchase
On April 23, 2023, I purchased clothing on Facebook from Dillards. Another company which I have lost track of the same day. I received an order number for a delivery date. I needed two items for memorial day weekend. After 20 days I emailed them again and they said my order was shipped. I did not receive my order and I contacted them to verify the address they sent it to.
They have the correct info but it was not in the order that an address would be shippable! Dillards said they would look into it, and after several days or more, they offered me a 30% refund on my purchase. ??
I replied that it was not shipped to me and never received so I wanted my full refund!!!
The next response they were apologizing and said that they could do 50% and then 70% refund…???
After thinking about it a few days I told them there were items I wanted in that order that’s why I placed the order and the highest they would offer me a refund was 90%!!!!…????
On 7-9-2023, I emailed them back stating that I still deserve my hundred percent refund on the order and they are still jumping through hoops to get my refund to me saying it could take 30 to 60 days.? It didn’t take that long for them to accept my payment for the order on 4-23-23 :(
Attempting to attach emails from them. It’s just the principle of the matter and I am so frustrated with them for scamming me and not getting the items I paid for.
If you need more detailed emails, I can forward to you if supplied with your email.
Also, a friend who was scammed from JC Penneys on Facebook, and I, BOTH received a Fake ring in mail from Gma Co.
