Just received a 'quote' from this same company for $979.70 for concentrated cleaner and degreaser. Called and the lady said it was a quote and I told her this is an invoice and no mention of a quote is on here. Just like the above people mentioned, this looks legitimate and vague at the same time.

We got a invoice bill today in the mail totally ridiculous balance of $979.70 for Concentrated Cleaner and Degreaser. Who would pay this amount for a cleaner and a degreaser? This is SCAM! I'm glad that catch this right away. Thank you for the complaints that has been posting here, I was able to conform my suspensions.

Just as others have stated, we received a $900 invoice for degreaser. When I called them for additional details and informed them that we had not ordered any items from them, they stated that this was "just a quote" and if we were not interested, they would remove us from their database. This was not a quote - this was an invoice. If your accounting/payables department is not paying attention, you are going to be scammed!

We too received an invoice for $979.70. As others have stated, it was supposedly for concentrated cleanser and degreaser. Who would pay that much?! There was just something fishy-looking about it. It had no PO # and no one's name on it. I'm sure they get some people to pay their phony bills, though.

Direct Chemical sent what looks like a real invoice to pay. It was for concentrated cleaner and degreaser totaling $979.70. It had our company address and a detach and mail back area. Thankfully we did not pay it. No PO and nobody knew anything about ordering this. Deceitful company.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

We received an "invoice" in the mail. It was made out to our company for some Concentrated Cleaner and Degreaser in the amount of $979.48. After checking with all of the buyers for all of our locations, we realized no one had placed this order. Upon further inspection of said invoice, we realized there is no invoice number only an "I.D. Number".

I reached out to the email address to request a W-9 (as is stated on this fake invoice). I actually received a reply with a W-9 attached.

Their website was obviously set up this year.

This company needs to be stopped. How many companies just pay invoices without verifying purchases?

Big-time SCAM!!

Direct Chemical sent me what looks very much like an invoice to pay. It was for cleaners and degreasers totaling $956.07.

They absolutely were trying to get me to send them payment. . It has our complete company name, address, etc., an I.D. Number, date, items, total and at the bottom it has an area to "detach and mail back" which states "make checks payable to Direct Chemical Company". When i called, the girl on the phone said it was actually an unsolicited quote. However, no where on the document does it say quote.

They look like a legit company. It is a shame they feel they must stoop to the level of deceit to get business.
