THIS COMPANY FROM NAPLES FLORIDA HIRED ME AS A 3RD PARTY SHIPPER BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2019, I SHIPPED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF GOOD, WAS PROMISED PAYMENT AND THEN DID NOT GET PAID.

After searching for "work from home" opportunities, I came across a blog with a website that employed me with little information and no tax reporting forms of any kind (W4's, 1099, etc.). After submitting my name, email, mailing address, and phone number, they proceeded to contact me via email and once by phone from the "management" just to verify I have access to email, a printer, tape, scissors, and a box to ship items in. I confirmed the information and started to have packages with a variety of peoples names physically mailed to me. I was to take a picture of the package, open it, pictures of the items, and record the names, addresses, weights, and tracking information in emails I returned to the suspected scammer. After shipping a package by consolidating multiple merchendises, I received a payment of $50 via paypal. This made me believe it was legitimate. However, after continuing for a month or so, my contact through this employer vanished. I tried to email him with more package informations and a mailer daemon returned the emails saying the email address no longer exists. I then tried to return to the website I originally signed up on and it too was no longer available. I searched for the business online and found a similar website, only this was a '.net' site instead of the '.biz'. I contacted the company via their "Contact Us" option on the website and told them what has been happening; I have yet to hear any reply. I am continuing to receive packages without any information on what else I am to do with them. I am afraid I am being used on a larger scale of mail fraud and wish for this to discontinue. I do not know what steps I need to take to end this and feel safe.
