I received a phone call on 28 November 2017 from Direct TV stating that I could lower my Direct TV Bill to $160.00 locked into a two year contract. I was told Direct TV & Amazon have gotten together to have Direct TV lower customers Direct TV bill. I was instructed to go to a store and purchase an Amazon Gift card and put $329.98 on this gift card and call this number, 1-888-654-3415. Once I called I was to give them the Amazon Gift card number and I was to be given a Promo Code, DTV-196-B-26. I was also told that I had to have this done and call them before 8 o'clock the same day to receive the Direct TV Promo. I had called Direct TV and Amazon and explained to them I was notified about this Promo and I was told by a representative of Direct Tv and Amazon that this was a SCAM! I want to put this out there because there are people that will fall for this.
