On Saturday 6/5/21 I received a call from Directv and AT&T. Stating they have a promotion going on with Ebay. They would reduce our Directv bill in half for 2 years plus I could get a movie channel for viewing. I questioned him several time about the promotion, called back the number they called from and it did say This is Directv and AT&T, press 1 to pay a bill, 2 for account details, 3 for tech problems, 4 to change your program, 5 for promotion. So this was all legit, or so I thought. You had to pay 6 months in advance to get this great deal, promoting Ebay with Directv. So they even knew how much my bill was. So they said I could get my same program I have for 55.00 a month, next 24 months as long as I pay 6 months in advance. You had to pay with ebay card. So thinking this was a legit promotion I got the two gift cards, called them back and gave them the numbers from the cards. The next day they called my husband and said there was a problelm with about 100 cards that did not go through and I would have to do this all again with two new gift cards. Well I found a number for Directv other than what they gave me and was told it was a scam. Directv or AT&T are not letting their customers know that this scam is going on and that is wrong. They fooled me once but not the second time. Others need to know about this. They are still operating this scam as I can still call the number they gave me. They also gave me a auth code by phone of DTV2626
