I received a phone call from 800-531-500 (DirecTV's service number) and a man with Indian accent said he had a special offer because I was a current customer with DirecTV and if I went and bought a Amazon gift card and prepaid 4 months at a discounted rate the rate would remain discounted for two years and I would get free movie channels and NFL package for free for two years also. In addition, if I did it within 24 hours I would receive a gift card for $100.

The phone number I was told to call back after purchasing the amazon gift card was 888-314-0329. I did not call that number. I did not get a gift card. I called DirecTV, and looked up "DirecTV amazom promotion" on Google. Both verified it is a scam.
