I called a # that was on my doctor's bill & got man who offered me a $100 Rebate Card for $1.95 & gave him my credit card #. He gave me 2 #'s 877-682-1081 & 877-682-1403 for cancellation. Man on phone 1/23/24 gave me his # 800-373-9188. I've called all 3 #'s today on 1/24 & it's a legit co of Pro Tech, who does do promotionals like this I was told. I called the cancellation # & cancelled today after I called my credit card co. & cancelled my card & have them issue me a new one.

I called Amazon about my Order and these people wanted a Credit Card that I pay Amazon with because they have a Deal with Amazon and will send a $100 GIFT Card whether I cancel or not (a Magazine prescription within 15 days). {maybe I misdialed a # but it was INTENTIONALLY close to the Amazon number)

You told me for a small charge (But if I don't cancel within 15 days this charge will increase to $34.95 a month!) I will receive a $100 Gift Card. However, I looked up your name and it says SCAM? (Discount & Savings Advantage) 877.682.1081, 682.1403

My husband called the credit card company number on our bill and the person answering identified themselves with this company. She offered $100 voucher and giving her personal info was the only way to get in touch with our credit card company. SCAM?

I had a company I regularly do business with, email me, officially, secured and authenticated email, highly unlikely spoofed or tampered with. The number in the email directed me to this company and provided me with only one option, to press 1, and was met with a hostile and aggressive person asking for a ton of personal info, including a payment method. My phone was highly unlikely to be redirected in this way. I have filed a report with IC3.gov the FBI Cybercrime Reporting Site.

This is totally a scam! I totally got a lot of information on these guys! These guys mostly in the US who are Mexican. Sometimes this call center goes to India or the Philippines because it's much cheaper! They just take over numbers and put on this offer in the daytime. In the nighttime, it puts on a call to the Indian call center where they barely answer. They just charge your credit card over and over. They don't send any rebate voucher.

Fake and scam company, not registered in state of Utah nor city of Draper, Utah. They cut right to asking for credit card number for payment without asking if you have questions, this is all on purpose and all a part of the playbook they read from. This is an ongoing scam and POS company. Anyone knows who owns it? Got a name? I will call them back and give them that name as a potential customer and see if they catch it. And if you ask them if they are in Draper, Utah answering these calls, they sure don't have a clue as to the governor of the state or mayor of draper. Because they are not in draper, it's a call center somewhere else scamming people.

I work for this company, the offers legit. The company is banking on the fact you won't cancel your subscription on time and charge you the full amount for the month. But if you cancel your all good and the 100 dollar voucher is 100% real.

I just worked for these [censored]ers for 3 days. It's painfully obvious it's a scam, and most of the people working in the call centers are just too blinded by "sales" bonuses and being hammered by their manager to "stick to the script" (playbook) that they never ask enough questions to realize they're selling dog[censored].

The first thing they tell you at this company is "DO NOT LIE TO MAKE THE SALE." The second thing they do is hand you a playbook full of lies--except in the places where we're legally obligated to tell the truth.

The voucher is NOT real. Many reports online from people who can't use them--which makes sense, this company barely exists, there's no way they have a huge voucher program with connections to every major retailer on the continental US.

More than likely the list of "No Sell" states that you're told to try to get a friend or family's address for instead are actually states with stricter laws that prevent this [censored]. I wouldn't know though--despite being told to claim I was calling from Draper Utah and worked for Discount Savings & Advantage, I was actually calling from a Canadian call center called TeleSolutions. They convince people they're doing sales when what they're actually doing is bullying old people into signing up for [censored] they don't want by lying aggressively.

Complete bull[censored] here, 1. these scam [censored]s claim the company address is 12300 South Street Draper Utah, that address doesnt exist unless its an alternate mail box depote, closest address to that is the Deseret Book Store in a shopping center strip mall. 2. City of Draper business registration officer does not have this company name registered at all, neither does the Utah State Commerce Dpt. 3. They wont give you a direct call back company number, and they say they have a web site, yet wont give you the web address to even see the home page as if its a top secret, they say its a members only site. 4. they speak fast and go r
ight in to saking you for your cerdit car number without asking you if you have any questions, that is a part of the play book they are reading from, the purposely dont stop to ask if you have questions, they just want your credit card number. Google the company name, nothing good comes up, and no validation of the company can be found. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I misdialed the number trying to reach True Connect. The rep for Discount Savings Advantage said they were allowed to intercept the True Connect line to offer new users an opportunity to get a $100 voucher. Well, the mention of a voucher from a government phone didn't sound super crazy for the price of $1.95, so I proceeded. Unfortunately, when I called back to get my confirmation number I was put on hold until the call dropped. I should have realized it was too good

When I call my fiances phone number that hes had for over 5 years if he doesnt answer it somehow goes to these scam people . Theyve somehow attached their scam to my fiances phone line. The phone number is 6095019626. When I asked the guy what the name of his company was he told me Discount Savings & Advantage. I then asked him for his phone number and he could not provide me with one. He kept telling me he was giving me a free $100 gift card to anywhere I picked and then proceeded to get me to give him a debit/credit card number for some kind of $1.95 fee. I did not give him any information .

Do not be a victim. They offered $100 gift card purchase anywhere such as gas, Walmart, etc. Gave credit card number, but call credit card company and reported scam. Canceled the card. I insisted on canceling on the offer but they said it can be done by using these numbers 1 877 682-1081 or 1 877 682-1403 and to confirm off they asked me to call 800 373-3422 which took me to Direct TV. Again, I cancelled the card.

The number they send you to is actually 1-800-373-3411. We're told to tell people it's an agent, it's a direct redirect, or that it's literally the company they were trying to call in the first place. It's actually an automated system that makes you speak to a robot so it can (badly) guess who you're trying to reach and provide you basic googlable info on them.

Basically a service designed to [censored] consumers even more while helpfully destroying every call redirect job in the country.

Asked "Kareem" 27 or more times for their website and he just kept saying their website was "discount savings advantage" typed into a search box! When asked for the specific website (i.e., .com., net, .biz, etc.) he just kept insisting he was giving the website by saying "discount savings advantage" and sometimes throwing in "draper utah" at the end of it. He sounded like the biggest [censored] you have ever heard.

He INSISTED that he was giving out a legit website. When he was told that it needed a domain name suffix and what was the actual website, he just kept saying he was giving the web address with these words. By the way, these words, of course, brought up nothing. Well ... they bring up things like this scam page now so that's awesome!

I cannot STAND thieves and I hate LIARS and this company and this scammer was terrible. He had ZERO confidence to begin with and spoke so far from the mic on his headset you could barely hear him. Had to keep telling him to speak up. He obviously knew he was caught but, rather than admit they had no website, he just kept insisting that these few words in a search engine equaled a website. When logic was pointed out to him in that he wasn't giving a website, but just some random words that did not bring up a website, he persisted. Just pathetic.

Do not fall for this, or any of these gift voucher/card scams out there. They just want your information to use and sell. They run up your credit card until they max it out or drain your bank accounts. If, like some I have seen here, you give them your SSN info (NEVER DO THAT) they will use that for even more fraud in your name. They are thieves, users, liars, and [censored].

Instead of dialing 1800 I dialed 18668863226 thinking it was a shoe company I ordered from recently and was asking about my purchase. The man said that the department was going under update on their systems and they would offer $100 gift card for my inconvenience! Totally made up a lie and I fell for it because I thought I was talking with a shoe company that is well known. Gave him my name address email and phone number with credit number and cvv. Incredible! Called my credit card company to cancel card and changed my passwords to email. He transferred me to his supervisor who then proceed to have me listen and answer no to 5 other offers! I should have known them. So scary.

I called this company bank and somebody called James answered. I am from India so I could detect a heavy Indian accent. I asked him what his real name was, and he kept repeating that it was James. I asked him how he could prove that it was not a scam, and asked for my address instead. That is when I hung up,. When I tried to redial that number I found it disconnected, proving that it was a scam

Please do not give your information. There is no free money you will be in trouble to get any discount voucher or any amazon charge or anything related to insurance discount. All this group are sitting outside somewhere in ASIA and robbing people.

This fake [censored] scam company uses multiple call junction numbers to get incoming calls, claim they are located at C107 12300 south street Draper Utah. try to google that address or find it on google maps, it doesn't exist, or if it does all it is a damn alternate postal mailbox depot and not a real physical office address as they are lying to you about it. Address 107 12300 south street is the legitimate address for Deseret Book store. Called city of draper business registration officer, they have NO record of such a company being in Draper, and confirmed the C107 address is a damn mailbox in a strip mall! easy to trick the pushy sales agent and trip them up about the "call center office" they say they are at in Draper, because when you say you googled the address and cant find it, and they claim they are really there, just ask them what other business is next door to them so you can use street view on google maps to identify their building, and ask them what their building front looks like, THEY WILL EVADE THE QUESTION AND HANG UP BECAUSE YOU CATCH THEM IN A LIE! As expected with this POS scam company, they will NEVER be a part of the BBB!

Everyone, beware! This is definitely a scam, trying to prey on susceptible people who want a $100 voucher, because who wouldn't want such a great offer? The sad thing is, people happen upon this scam without time to do research online and only realize after. In any case, hoping this report adds to the case against them and that authorities are monitoring.

Yesterday, my mom was trying to call her medicare health insurance company to check on something with her account, and somehow got this line instead. After the call, she noticed that the phone number on her caller ID was the insurance company's + an additional 6, which is strange. I think they somehow manipulate the phone lines to transfer to their calling centers during afterhours for other companies. She was given one menu option - to dial 1 for a $100 retailer voucher, otherwise to stay on the line for other voucher options. She pressed the 1 for the voucher, thinking that it was an offer from the insurance company, since they offer discounts and freebies for seniors all the time. She spoke with a woman who was speaking very quietly and quickly, and it was hard for her to understand even though she asked for her to speak up and slow down. My mom asked her how she got to her and if she worked for the insurance company. The woman told her she didn't and that her insurance company must have forward her to them (uhh what?). She could get her free voucher if she gave her full name and mailing address. So my mom did. Then she proceeded to say something about $1.95, still quietly and very quickly, so my mom wasn't hearing anything correctly. My mom got frustrated and asked her to just cancel the transaction, she didn't want it anymore. The woman continued to say things quickly and quietly, so my mom just hung up on her. Reading these other accounts here (and thank you all for reporting your experiences with this shady "company"!), it's now clear that the woman was asking my mom to pay for shipping. I'm thankful that it didn't get to this point, and I’m so sorry to hear that others were unfortunately manipulated into paying.

Fast forward to today. My mom was worried she did something wrong and let me know about this. She gave me the number from her caller ID. I called today to see what I could find out. Just as expected, I reached a "menu" of one option to dial 1 for the $100 voucher and to stay on the line for other voucher options. No mention of who I had reached at all in the recording. First red flag for sure if the company doesn't identify itself from the get-go. Dialed 1 and got someone by the name of Norma. She asked for my first and last name, but I gave her just my first and asked her to please tell me what company I had reached. I let her know that my mom had called previously and signed up for a voucher, and I wanted to make sure we knew what company to expect the mail from because she didn’t catch it herself. Norma very quickly zoomed through the company name and I only got "Discount". I asked her to please repeat what came after Discount, and she refused. She quickly got defensive, started to claim that the number directs calls to different calling centers so it's probably not even the same company my mom dealt with, so it shouldn't matter. She mentioned she's in a calling center in Utah. I told her so far everything is matching what my mom experienced - that she got the same menu "options", dialed 1, and was asked for her name and mailing address just as I was. She told me that this must be with another company, because there's more to the process than just that. I asked her to tell me what else is part of the process... you know, "in case my mom needs to do anything else" ;) ;). She told me that she would explain after I gave her my full name and mailing address. I told her she didn't need my info and she can't just ask for someone's info to sign up for an offer without first disclosing the company name and full terms/process. That this is illegal. People have a right to know the terms of an offer before proceeding. She then claimed that she was going to tell me everything, but I was cutting her off and not giving her the time to. Which is not at all what was happening. I told her, okay, here's your time - what company do you work for and what else is part of the process of getting this voucher. She once again told me she would only disclose once I gave her my information. So we went around in circles like this for literally 15 minutes! I told her I wasn't getting off the line and had all the time in the world to do this until she gave me more information on this offer. She finally cracked and said the full company name again - DISCOUNT SAVINGS ADVANTAGE (after a google search and finding this page, she clearly omitted the "And”… maybe to claim it’s the not the same company ;)) At that point I told her that is all that I needed, have a good day, glad we wasted all that time just to get a simple answer to a simple question, and hung up.

Bottom line. This is clearly a shady enterprise, preying on people. So shameful. I understand that people need jobs and convince themselves that they aren't doing anything to hurt others, so I do feel badly for this Norma. She told me she's not doing anything illegal and this company has been around for 25 yrs. She either actually has chosen to believe she's not ripping people off, or knows and doesn't care. Either way, I hope she finds some peace. And I hope more people report them so they can be taken down. The sad thing is, they'll likely come back with another name and number again and again, evading authorities and preying on more people.

Please be careful, everyone. Don’t give your information to anyone, unless it’s legitimately the company you’re calling and have business with. Don’t give your credit card numbers or SSN or address. Even for something as incredible as $100 to a store. If it seems to be too good to be true, it very likely is!

I was trying to reach my credit card company but accidentally dialed 1 number wrong and got this company name [pre- bank account] My Discount Net LLC. The lady who took my call said her name was "Latoya"! Ms. "Latoya," said I would be getting a $100 gift card for Walmart along with a $60 restaurant card and all I had to do was pay the shipping cost of $4.95. Ms. "Latoya", gave me her supposed ID#160620 along with a confirmation # for my supposed one-time fee of $4.95 along with a confirmation email. She also said I would receive my gift cards on [today] Dec. 17th, 202, of course, I did NOT!

After the transaction Ms. "Latoya" was supposed to transfer me to a credit agent/representative but instead, I was disconnected. I redialed the # and got someone different! That person offered me the same except, the restaurant gift card was for $50., of course, I said NO and asked to just be transferred to a credit card agent! The person on the other end asked me which credit card company I wanted to be transferred to, huge RED FLAG! I looked at my statement and realized that I had dialed the wrong number and immediately hung up, called my bank, and canceled my bank card. Of course, when I didn't receive the supposed gift cards, I redialed the wrong number and a third person answered made the same offers but said the companies name was Discount Saving Advantage. I said NO and that I was wanting to speak with Ms. "Latoya" and gave him her ID# and my supposed Confirmation # and wouldn't you know, there was no order for me, lol!

To conclude: I'm usually more aware of these scams, but with it being the Holidays and my husband being out of work due to injury, I was really hoping for something to help with holiday shopping.

I called Capital One, using the number on the back of my credit card. The call went to a company named, Discount & Savings Advantage, which is supposed to be located in Draper Utah. They did not identify themselves when answering. I heard multiple voices in the background and the phone quality was bad. The voice was a young male, maybe even a teenager. I was calling to ask a generic credit question, but the man insisted that he had to validate me as a cardholder in order to assist. He wanted my name, address, and email address, which I gave. Then he wanted my credit card number. I was getting suspicious because he seemed so unprofessional and had a heavy accent, and I was doubting if I was talking to CapitalOne/MasterCard, so I said you should be able to verify me without my giving further information. He said he just needed my birthdate, and full Social Security Number at which point I hung up.

I then called Capital One's MasterCard Fraud Protection number and reported my experience to them, which was that someone is pirating calls to the number on the back of the Savor Card. In my opinion, they are totally useless, as the person I spoke to had no interest about the Discount & Savings Advantage company whatsoever and I don't think he understood what my concerns were. It was a waste of both his and my time to call at all. I also called the Draper, Utah PD to report my incident and the officer taking the call was not very interested in the details, only saying that there was an ongoing investigation going on in the jurisdiction about credit card fraud, but he would not take down any of the information I was willing to provide.

It is no wonder that there is so much credit card and internet fraud going on in this country. The people, who could do something about it are not interested in doing anything, so I guess we will have to live with it. I know I never will waste my time again for the public good as no one gives two you know whats.
