Received calls on my phone 304-587-4506, on caller ID it says DTV upgrade, Number 256-667-2547. He said they needed to do an upgrade to my Dish TV service. I asked to speak to a manager and they transferred me to, David Selma, at ext 110, is the name he gave me to be reached at 1-888-831-6716. Stated they need my credit card for fee of $199.99. I told him I did not have the money and he said if I didnt give him the 16 digit card number that i would lose service within 24 hours from my dish service. I hung up and did not give him my card info. He called back a few times, directly after that and I did not answer. I called Dish at both numbers 1-800-333-3474 and 1-888-283-2309, both of them assured me that they would never call to demand any money for any upgrades and I them both of them the info and numbers they had used to contact me. I am sure that I am not the only person who has received these calls. Please check into this SCAM

This scammer is trying to get peoples checking account numbers, they claimed that our Dish services needed updated. When we refused to give our checking account numbers he claimed that it was the safest way to pay. I contacted DISH and they do not call their customers.

I was called twice within 10 mins explaining that they could lower my Dish Network bill. They called once on my landline and then on my cell. I did say yes I was interested and they said they would call me back, so far nothing. I did report to Dish. Both times it came from the number 602-649-2413
