I called said number-reached a “Dispute Resolution Services” line that asked if I knew extension or press zero. Man got on the line, did not provide name. I gave the “case number”. He asked my name, confirmed, previous last name. He said I have 2 court cases out against me. He then asked if the last four of my SSN was such and such. I said no. He said they had wrong person and wanted me to confirm information. I said no. He asked for phone number. I said, you guys have it since you called me. I then mentioned to him that when calling their number there was no fair debt collections recording and that I know they are scamming. That completely set him off and he started yelling at me-he claimed he had 15 phone numbers and if I wanted to stop getting calls that I had better give him my number. I told him that he was being very rude and extremely unhelpful if this was really any attempt to correct anything ‘legally’. He started yelling “oh, am I being rude??” I almost couldn’t even get any word in as he was yelling so much and I then stated that if they do continue to call and harass me that I would report them to the news. He then called me a “stupid, hard headed woman” and hung up on me.
