Applyness (scammer) was impersonating Disturbia (a legit clothing company). The scammer pretended to be another company through an Instagram ad. The website I was redirected to appeared to be the company they were impersonating. When I received the confirmation email, it came from an unrecognized email address unrelated to the company I thought I was purchasing from.
