I was looking forward into purchasing a dog for my family. The family wanted a French bulldog. I found the dog to be a bit pricey, so I looked for a good deal online. This fraudulent website offered the dog at 50% off. I got in contact with the man. Showed me pictures of the dog and we made arrangements for payment. He requested that I wire him the money by western union money gram or Zelle. I did just that. As the so called shipment company sent me an email requesting 1,235 in insurance for the dog for the shipment. That’s when I got suspicious and realized I was getting conned. Just awful this whole experience just broke my heart.
