David did a luxury vinyl plank flooring for my 1st floor home. He measured 500 square feet. His estimation was so far off. I had to give him more money to purchase 4 more cases of flooring. Even his estimation of quarter round was so far off. He had to go out and purchase 4 more pieces. His miter cuts were so far off and when I mentioned it to him he said, “Yeah, your wall isn’t 45 degrees”. I told him “Not all walls will be a true 45 degrees but he refused to fix quarter round molding and base boards that looked like a teenager could do a better job.

A majority of the flooring turned out pretty good. Except when it came to a doorway to the half bath. The joint didn’t seat and lock good, but he continued to lay vinyl planks even around the toilet.

The next day when he came to supposedly finish the job, I showed him how the joint had popped up. All he said was “Bummer”

Please do not use this guy. He makes it sound easy at the beginning but his quality of work SUCKS.
