DNA Logistics Reports & Reviews (3)

This started off as a phone interview for employment as a supply chain manager with DNA Logistics. Everything seemed legitimate, and whatever seemed a little off was easily attributed to the company headquarters being based in the United Kingdom. I started a trial employment with several case studies and was then meant to work on a actual business case with an advisor. The case studies were well done and relevant to what the position was described as, but the business case is where the scam starts. The senior project manager for the company tells you to work on this procurement project for which you are supposed to use your personal credit card (and hopefully open several more) in order to purchase some macbooks and iphones for one of their sites. They send reasonably well made instructions and guides to getting credit cards and how to connect to their bank you that you can pay off the debt from their account. This is the body of the initial scam email:

Basic steps:

1. Transfer funds from the corporate account to your credit card,

if you have an outstanding balance, after receiving the funds, your balance

should be zero (If you do not have the unpaid balance, you first have to

purchase the equipment and then request a refund from the corporate account).

2. Please, visit the Apple store and purchase few units from the equipment list.

3. Charges will reflect on your account within 24-48 hrs.

4. Request the payment to your credit card using the same account information and instructions.

5. The next business day the payment should hit on your account.

And the first step again, until you collect all units of equipment.

The list of equipment (purchase order) and banking information attached.

You can use all of your credit cards to purchase equipment and request

the payments. You can withdraw your commission from your credit card as

cash advance and cover it with the next payment from our bank account.

So right after you receive the payment your balance should be 0.

Please enroll our bank account and request the payment today.

Please send me confirmation and exact amount as soon as you request the payment.

Please, purchase the equipment personally, NOT on-line.

On-line process takes about 5-7 business days, too long.

Request the next payments as soon as charges reflected at your credit card account.

I should send reports about project progress to our financial department on regular basis.

That report includes information about requested payments and purchases.

Also there are several ways to speed up the process and earn extra commission:

- We highly recommend you to use several credit cards to request the payments.

- Also you can use full potential of your credit card. You can use available

credit to purchase equipment and request the payment after charges reflected.

For example: Credit limit $5,000. Balance $1,300.

1. Manager request and receive $1,300 to bring balance to 0.

2. Purchase the equipment on amount $5,000.

3. Request and receive $5,000 after charges reflected.

4. Withdraw commission as cash advance and purchase the next batch.

And step 3 Again.

The account has been activated and authorization has been granted starting from now,

just work with on-line services. Please confirm receipt.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Was contacted by an individual claiming to have a job paying 98k/year plus benefits as a Supply Chain Manager. I have zero experience as a Supply Chain or any other kind of manager aside from my college education. This company apparently builds a new site every other month, changes their name, and employs the same scam. Watch out.

An HR employee of the company reached out to me by email after finding my email thru LinkedIn. We arranged a phone interview and I was asked to complete a 4-week paid training program for Supply Chain Manager, where upon completion I may be offered a full-time position to work remotely. There were a few discrepancies in the benefits, and the interview process seemed far too easy with a 10-minute phone call. Their website seems rather impressive and shows the company is worldwide. I did a map search for the three international addresses, including the address listed in NYC for the US location. No such company appears to exist at any of the locations. I searched related trade websites and never found any mention of the company. For the UK headquarters' street address, the search pulls up a map location of India, with a different logistics company's website referenced.
